Q: What size belt should I buy?
A: It is a good idea to allow extra length in your belt on top of your waist size to allow for your pants. Allow at least 2” – 5cm.
Q: Some sizes seem to be missing from your range, there is no 26” or 30” or 34” belts for example?
A: Our belts are made with 7 holes rather than the standard 5, this means we have to use more leather and labour but it also means there is less chance of you purchasing a belt that is too small. If you follow the rule to allow at least 2” – 5cm on top of your waist size it is unlikely you will buy a belt that does not fit you.
Q: I want to wear my belt lower on the hips, what size should I buy?
A: The same rules apply as with the waist, allow at least 2” – 5cm extra to your waist size.
Q: Why should I buy my belt bigger than my pants size?
A: Your pants will add extra length to your waist size, also you can always punch another hole if your belt is too long but you can’t lengthen your belt if it’s too small!!
Q: My jeans are 34”, what size belt should I buy?
A: Allow an extra 2” (5cm) to your jeans so Large (36” 92cm) would be ideal.
Q: Will my leather belt fit through the belt loops in my jeans?
A: The width of each belt is detailed in its product page. We have rarely had a problem with belts not fitting through loops as nearly all pants allow for wider belts, especially denim jeans and today’s fashions.
Q: What if I get my belt and it is too small/large?
A: Please read our shipping and returns policy.
